Indoor Rowing Success

Success for 17 rowers from Years 7 to 13 in the second indoor rowing league match of the season.

17 rowers from Years 7 to 13 competed with 68 others from Stamford High School, The King's School, Jack Hunt and Hampton College in the second league match of the season - and came out in first place with a winning average score of 95.1%.

Team captain, Daniel Boyle, came second overall in the individual standings with an outstanding score of 107.5%.  At the end of the evening's challenges, The Peterborough School managed a narrow win by one point over Hampton College.

Everyone rowed superbly but must keep up their efforts to achieve continued success in the league.  A huge 'well done' also goes to Mrs Axe, who beat all the other members of staff from the participating schools to come first in the staff challenge!
