Year 9 student, Rachel Wellings, was the star of the show for City of Peterborough Swimming Club (COPS) when they took on some of the world's best swimmers at a top international meeting in Luxembourg. In the junior age group Rachel won gold in the 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke and 50m breast-stroke and completed an incredible weekend by adding two silvers (200m backstroke and 200m breast-stroke) and a bronze in the 200m individual medley.

Rachel's super haul of medals made her the outstanding swimmer of the COPS team.
