sample imageIn Key Stage Two, all subjects are taught using a variety of methods to suit different learning styles. Mathematics and English are delivered in the spirit of the Primary Framework, but in our independent school environment, teachers have the freedom to tailor this to children’s specific needs.

Humanities, Science, Religious Education, Art and Design Technology are taught using the QCA programmes of study as a framework; again this is adapted to suit individual requirements. Personal, Social and Health Education teaching follows the Social Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEAL) scheme, interspersed with elements of Citizenship. Other subjects including Physical Education, French, Music, Latin, Reasoning and ICT are taught by subject specialists, mostly from the Senior School.
