Bursar (April 2019)

The Governing Body is seeking an outstanding individual to join the Senior Leadership Team as Bursar and Clerk to the Governors from April 2019 (or as soon as possible).  The person selected will be responsible for the efficient management of the School's finances and facilities and the effective application of resources to support the School's educational aims.  The successful candidate will be a good communicator, a strategic thinker and have a proven record of well-developed financial and commercial acumen, allied with project management experience.  Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills are essential, as is a keen sense of humour.  Salary will be commensurate with experience and market norms, in the range £60,000 to £70,000.

Head of Geography (maternity cover)

Required for the start of the Summer Term 2019

The School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and inspirational individual who will deliver high quality Geography teaching up to A Level and lead our Geography Department to future success.

The School has its own salary scale and there is generous fee remission for staff children.

The Peterborough School Nursery which is an OFSTED registered and ISI 'Outstanding' setting requires:

  • Fixed Hours Apprentice Childcare Practitioner (with City College Peterborough)

The ideal candidate will have a firm knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and relevant experience within an Early Years setting.  They will also hold a childcare qualification at Level 2 (with English and Mathematics GCSE Grade C or above) or completed/working towards NVQ Level 3 or above.

School Cook

40 week contract, 30 hours a week, £9.20 per hour

We are currently looking for a talented and proven cook at The Peterborough School, one of our prestigious school sites in Peterborough.

You will be working in a great kitchen environment using and serving fresh, seasonal produce using modern techniques and always looking at developing the food offer.

As well as having excellent presentation & communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food and service and possess bags of enthusiasm.

  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge 
  • Be able to work within set budgets
