Congratulations to the Public Speaking team of Charlotte Hayes, Abigail Jessop and Rachel Senior, who were successful in their attempt to reach the Regional Final of the English Speaking Union Public Speaking competition.  They travelled to Oakham School and faced six other excellent teams from a variety of schools in the East Midlands region.

Team debutante, Abigail carried off the difficult role of Questioner with skill, Charlotte was a very efficient Chairman and Rachel's speech impressed the judges.  The Regional Final takes place shortly at Oakham Castle so good luck to the team for future success.
